Community Animal Network will be outside of Russo's Pet Experience in Fashion Island from noon to 4 p.m. this weekend with Siamese kittens ready to be "pre-adopted." Bessie is a long-haired, black-and-white Siamese, BeBe is a Siamese mix, Dude is a grey-and-white Siamese, and Tiger Lilly is a Siamese mix. Mimi, the Siamese cat that delivered the kittens, will also be available for adoption. The kittens selected for adoption will be released once they have been spayed and neutered.

Misterfer Misterfer is a beautiful Siamese Tabby. He is one of 35 recent Siamese and Flamepoint cats the Newport Beach-based Community Animal Network has rescued. "His piercing blue eyes seek someone to love and trust," said DiAnna Pfaff-Martin, founder of the network. Siamese cats are special for their strong personalities and vocal characteristics, she said. In addition to new pet parents, the network needs volunteers to serve as adoption coordinators, rescue coordinators and vet techs, she said.

Simon and Summer will be popular with fans of the Siamese breed. Summer has flame point Siamese markings with the classical angular face and lean body, while Simon is white with lynx point markings and the typical bright blue eyes of the breed. Siamese cats are known for their intelligence and social habits.
