BRIEFLY IN THE NEWS Trailer slows traffic on Coast Highway A tractor-trailer overturned at the intersection of Coast Highway and Superior Avenue on Thursday morning dumping 17 tons of construction material on the roadway, backing up and slowing down traffic for several hours, officials said. The incident happened at about 7 a.m., when the driver of the tractor trailer tried to make a left turn from Coast Highway to Superior Avenue, officials said.
