MEN'S GOLF Anteater Invitational NEWPORT BEACH — UC Irvine senior Bryan Harris won the individual title at the 54-hole event completed Tuesday at Big Canyon Country Club. Harris carded an eagle on the first playoff hole — the 520-yard, par-5 No. 18 — to defeat Nick Delio of Cal State Northridge. Harris drove a 190-yard six-iron from the right rough to within 12 feet, then sank the eagle putt. He overcame a five-shot deficit on Tuesday by shooting 5-under-par 67 for the best round of the day in the 65-player field.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL Vanguard 68, Point Loma Nazarene 59 SAN DIEGO — Senior guard Sarah Boyd had 18 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists to lead the visiting Lions, ranked No. 13, in the Golden State Athletic Conference game Tuesday. Senior Molly Pfohl had 19 points and seven rebounds and made eight of 10 field-goal tries to pace the winners (13-6, 9-4 in conference). Boyd was 13 of 16 from the free-throw line. PLNU is 9-11, 4-8. MEN'S BASKETBALL Point Loma Nazarene 83, Vanguard 60 SAN DIEGO — Senior Alex Chapman had 23 points and sank nine of 11 field-goal tries for the visiting Lions in the Golden State Athletic Conference game Tuesday.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL Vanguard 92, The Master's 84 (3 OT) SANTA CLARITA — Sarah Boyd and Molly Pfohl scored 18 points each to lead the Lions in the Golden State Atheltic Conference game. Allison Burns had 14 points, Veronica Beavor had 12 points and Chelsea Alfafara had 11 points for Vanguard (11-5, 7-3 in conference), which outscored The Master's, 12-4, in the third overtime period. Long Beach State 80, UC Irvine 79 LONG BEACH — Mikah Maly-Karros had 20 points and 14 rebounds for the Anteaters in the Big West Conference game Saturday.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL UC Irvine 77, Long Beach State 59 IRVINE — The host Anteaters sank a season-high 11 three-pointers Saturday to remain tied atop the Big West Conference with Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Junior Mikah Maly-Karros had 25 points and 11 rebounds for her 10th double-double of the season. She was 10 of 13 from the field and netted her only three-point attempt. Jacqueline Marshall and Jade Smith-Williams each had four three-pointers and 16 points to help UCI (11-4, 3-0 in conference)

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL Orange Coast 60, Citrus 59 (OT) SAN LUIS OBISPO — Sophomore forward Samantha Hansen scored 22 points, including the game-winning basket with 13 seconds left in overtime in the final of the Cuesta Tournament, completed Saturday at Cuesta College. Hansen, who also made the game-winning basket in the Cuesta Tournament final in 2009, was named MVP of the tournament. Amanda Deal, who scored 10 points, including two late three-pointers against Citrus, was named all-tournament, as was OCC's Alyssa Hanson.
