The Greenleaf Gourmet Chopshop plans to open a second shop in Costa Mesa this month.

The fast-casual eatery, which opened last year on East 17th Street, is coming across town July 22 at the South Coast Collection, 3321 Hyland Ave.

The restaurant, which specializes in salads and sandwiches, is near SoCo's courtyard, the Iron Press and the Chuck Jones Center for Creativity.

"We have loved introducing Greenleaf to Orange County with our 17th Street location and look forward to being part of the SoCo family, which continues to be one of the area's newest culinary hotspots," said "Commander-in-Leaf" Jonathan Rollo, according to a prepared statement.

It will be the chain's fourth location in Southern California. The first two opened in Beverly Hills and Century City.

The restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
