Transit of Venus

The Orange Coast College Astronomy Club will be setting up solar telescopes near the OCC Planetarium so that people can view the transit of Venus. The best time to view the transit is between 2:30 and 4:30 p.m., and the telescopes will stay up until 8 p.m. OCC is at 2701 Fairview Road, Costa Mesa.

'Inner Visions' at the Irvine Museum

The Irvine Museum presents "Inner Visions: Women Artists in California." General admission is $5. Children, students and seniors get in for free. 'Do the Right'

Woody's Wharf and friends will host "Do the Right," an auction in memory of Kirk Howe to benefit Jenny and Jillian Howe.
