Athletic Awards Breakfast

The Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce presents the 51st annual Athletic Awards Breakfast. Newport Harbor High alum and two-time Olympic gold medalist Misty May-Treanor will be the special guest speaker. Eco Night at Davis

Davis Magnet School, 1050 Arlington Drive, Costa Mesa, holds its second Ecology Night of the school year from 6 to 8 p.m.. The event is open to anyone in the community.

Free Corkage Thursdays

'Green Tie Exhibit'

The Environmental Nature Center, 1601 16th St., Newport Beach, has opened an art show featuring mixed media, sculpture and photography. Art pieces from the show will be auctioned off June 2 at a "Green Tie Affair" auction, with proceeds going to the ENC. Co-Parenting Classes

Mariners Church, 5001 Newport Coast Drive, Irvine, presents a series of classes on co-parenting, led by Elizabeth Bader, founder of Positive Co-Parenting. The classes are from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays in May, and a day-long session will be given from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 2.
