He finished 8-3, including a 6-2 mark in eight conference starts, and had a 2.66 earned-run average for the season. He led UCI with 98 innings pitched, during which he held opponents to a .195 batting average.
Crumlich, a senior, made eight errors in 257 chances, a fielding percentage of .969, to earn the conference's top defensive honor. He is the second straight Anteater to claim the award, following Brian Hernandez in 2011.
Crumlich hit a team-best .324 and led the team in runs (39), hits (72) and doubles (16). The leadoff man drove in 19 runs and was successful on eight of 11 stolen-base attempts. He was a second-team honoree in 2011.
Ramirez, a center fielder, hit .324 with 58 hits, 26 runs and 21 RBIs to help the Anteaters (31-25, 13-11 in conference) finish fourth in the Big West.
UCI seniors Jordan Fox and Tommy Reyes, as well as junior Race Parmenter, received honorable mention.
Mitch Haniger (Cal Poly San Luis Obispo) was named Player of the Year, Dylan Floro (Cal State Fullerton) was Pitcher of the Year and Rick Vanderhook (Cal State Fullerton) was named Coach of the Year.
