St. Patrick's Day Events

Starting at 9 a.m., Muldoon's Irish Pub, 202 Newport Center Drive, Newport Beach, will have live music, featuring Van Dieman's Band followed by Mike Fitz & The Droppers. There is no cover charge.

The Harp Inn, 130 E. 17th St., Costa Mesa, will be starting St. Patrick's Day with an Irish-style breakfast service and Irish bands playing from 10 a.m. and on.

Patrick's Pub, 2645 Harbor Blvd., Costa Mesa, will be serving green beer, hosting bagpiper visits and giving away free items from noon to 2 a.m. Sunday.

The Balboa Bay Club & Resort celebrates St. Patrick's Day with a special menu at First Cabin Restaurant and musical entertainment and buffet at Duke's Place. Van Dieman's Band performs its brand of spirited Irish music from 5 to 9 p.m. For more information, visit

Brahms Concert at OCC
