Corona del Mar High School's principal notified parents Friday that the recent issue of academic integrity that involved a student buying test banks online and sharing them with classmates has been resolved.
Principal Tim Bryan said no disciplinary action was taken because the student in question willingly came forward.
The banks, which provide test questions and answers for teachers, were not labeled as teacher's editions, were found in the public domain and were available from legitimate retailers, Bryan said in an email copy of his letter to parents.
"While it is not my practice to discuss the results of internal disciplinary investigations, nor their outcomes, I feel it is necessary to clarify the situation," Bryan said in the email.
