  • SUNDAY: Chick-fil-A is hosting Chick-fil-A Night at City Hall's Charlie Brown display from 5 to 8:30 p.m. The restaurant will be collecting money for Give the Gift of Food and handing out its famous chicken sandwiches. Every dollar raised will be matched by Tammy Guadagno, operator of the Chick-fil-A on Bristol and MacArthur.

Temple Isaiah Celebrates Hanukkah

Temple Isaiah, at 2401 Irvine Ave. in Newport Beach, will celebrate Hanukkah with a 6:30 p.m. pot luck dinner followed by a Sabbath Eve service at 8 p.m. If you plan to attend the dinner, please bring a vegetarian or dairy dish and a menorah for the fourth night of Hanukkah. Art Show

Orange County Fine Arts, an association of OC artists, presents an exhibition of artistic works by its members at the Showcase Gallery, South Coast Plaza Village, 3851 S. Bear St., Santa Ana. The gallery is open from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays, 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sundays.

Canoe Under Holiday Lights

Enjoy outrigger canoeing for all ages and skill levels around Balboa islands under the glow of holiday lights decking out the watercraft and homes competing in the 103rd annual Boat Parade. Participants go out crowd-free on a non-boat parade day. Cost is $35 per person. Corporate and private holiday party paddles are available upon request.
