CORONA DEL MAR — Senior forward Karleh Wilson finished with 13 points and six rebounds in the Sea Kings' first-round game at the fourth annual CdM Tipoff Tournament on Monday.

Katie Scott contributed 10 points, two three-pointers and two steals for CdM (1-0).

The Sea Kings play Estancia in the quarterfinals on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

CORONA DEL MAR — Sophomore Celia Duran scored 20 to lead the Eagles, who opened their season in the first round of the Corona del Mar Tip-off Tournament Monday at CdM.

Estancia rallied from a 16-7 first-quarter deficit.

Giana Jason had seven points for the Eagles, who meet CdM in a quarterfinal clash Tuesday at 7 p.m.

CORONA DEL MAR — Kasey Thompson had 11 points to lead the Sailors, who opened their season in the Corona del Mar Tip-off Tournament on Monday at CdM.

Jennifer Lopez had six for the Tars, who drop into the consolation bracket, where they will resume play Wednesday.

WESTMINSTER — Senior Saaeed El-Assadi had 13 points and 11 rebounds for the Mustangs, who opened their season Monday in the first round of the La Quinta Shootout at La Quinta High.

Kyle Hefner added 11 points for Mesa, which continues in the consolation bracket on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
