Food Trucks

Costa Mesa High School, 2650 Fairview Road, hosts a benefit Food Truck Night from 5 to 8 p.m. in the student parking lot near the gym. The trucks will donate some of their proceeds for the high school's athletics, academics and other programs.

Furoshiki Workshop

Naturalist Leslie Helliwell leads a workshop on how to wrap gifts in Furoshiki cloths, a Japanese tradition. The workshop is at 6:30 p.m. at the Environmental Nature Center, 1601 16th St., Newport Beach. Admission is $30 per person. RSVP by calling (949) 645-8489.

Tuesday Residency

The Case Brothers wrap up their November residency at La Cave, 1695 Irvine Ave., Costa Mesa. The 21-and-older show starts at 10 p.m. and is free. Also performing are the Kettle Drivers and DJ Velvet Touch. For more information, visit http://www.myspace.com/lacave.

Dancing With The Teachers

The Newport Harbor High School Dance Team hosts its first Dancing with the Teachers at 7 p.m. Students have choreographed dances with teachers. Attendees will vote on their favorites and will have the chance to stuff the ballot box. Pop-Up Gallery

A free and public exhibit, "On Display in Orange County: Modern and Contemporary Sculpture," will be displayed on the penthouse level at South Coast Plaza, 3333 Bristol St.

Marine Gift Drive

The Orange County Great Park and city of Irvine are holding a holiday gift drive for the families of Irvine's adopted Marine unit. Unwrapped gifts will be collected for the Marines at the Great Park Visitors Center and at its Sunday Farmers Market. Orange County Fine Arts, an association of OC artists, presents an exhibition of artistic works by its members at the Showcase Gallery, South Coast Plaza Village, 3851 S. Bear St., Santa Ana. The gallery is open from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays, 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sundays.
