Five Alarm Cooking

Tom Lloy, John Testa and Friends from the Newport Beach Fire Department will entertain customers with their cooking skills at 1 p.m. in the Demo Kitchen at Bloomingdales in Fashion Island.  They will give us the inside scoop on nutrition, cooking on the run and their favorite recipes.

Pageant of the Masters at Rogers Garden

Stroll through Rogers Garden, 2301 San Joaquin Hills Road, Corona del Mar, and see sets and living "statues" from the Pageant of the Masters at 5:30 p.m. Among the evening's festivities are an auction of Christmas tree toppers. Shabbat Singles' Pot Luck Dinner

(A Tribute To) Paul McCartney and The American Hero

The Pacific Symphony honors Paul McCartney and Veterans Day with its (A Tribute To) Paul McCartney and The American Hero concert. Part 1 of the show features popular songs from World War II, sung by Sue Raney. Part two is a symphonic tribute to McCartney's iconic songs, led by Tony Kishman and his band and conductor Richard Kaufman.
