IRVINE — Seniors Sam Figueroa and Max Parrague scored three goals on senior night to lift the Anteaters in a nonconference game Wednesday at UCI.
Sophomore Mitch Wise also scored three goals for No. 5-ranked UC Irvine (15-10). The Anteaters pulled away by outscoring No. 11 UCSD (14-9), 6-3, in the fourth quarter.
UC Irvine plays at UC Santa Barbara at noon Saturday in its Mountain Pacific Sports Federation and regular-season finale.

UC Riverside def. UC Irvine
IRVINE — Sophomore outside hitter Aly Squires finished with 15 kills in the Anteaters' Big West Conference match, which UC Riverside won, 25-20, 19-25, 25-18, 25-15, on Wednesday.
The setback was UCI's first against the Highlanders in six years. The Anteaters had won the previous 11 matches against UCR.
Marissa Alvarez had 20 assists for the Anteaters (10-15, 4-9 in conference).
