Judaism 101

Free Flu Shots

Newport Harbor Lutheran Church and the Hoag Hospital Health Ministries Department will offer free flu vaccine shots at 10:30 a.m. at the church, 798 Dover Drive, Newport Beach. Supplies of the vaccine, for people ages 9and older, are limited.


Craig Alexander, a member of the Orange County Republican Central Committee, will give a talk about stopping the money pipeline from special interests at a meeting of the Corona del Mar Republican Assembly at Coco's Restaurant, 3446 E. Coast Hwy., CdM. A social hour is at 5 p.m., followed by dinner at 6 p.m. and Alexander's talk at 7 p.m. The event, including dinner, costs $20.
