Homage to The Dude

"Joe Forkan — The Lebowski Cycle," a painting exhibit, is at Frank M. Doyle Arts Pavilion, Orange Coast College, 2701 Fairview Road, Costa Mesa. The exhibit blends masterpieces of Western art with images from the 1998 film "The Big Lebowski." Pavilion is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Closed Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays.

Dr. Andrew Weil and Chef Michael Stebner will give a 2:30 p.m. talk and presentation at True Food Kitchen, Fashion Island, about the health benefits of vegetarian and vegan diets.
