Community & Clubs: New Rotary leaders for a new Rotary year

The four Rotary clubs in Newport-Mesa have installed new presidents, officers and board of director members for 2011-12.

Certified public accountant Jeffrey Kolsin is the new president of the Costa Mesa club, replacing Kim DeBroux, whose term expired. Serving with Kolsin are Adrian Suta, president elect; Kim DeBroux, membership chairwoman; Kellianne Jordan, secretary; Dale Bixler, treasurer; Alex Ureche, international service chairman; and James Erickson, new generations chairman. The Rotary Club of Costa Mesa meets at 5:15 p.m. Wednesdays at Ramada Inn and Suites, 1680 Superior Ave. The club website is http://www.costamesarotary.org.

Newport Beach librarian Cynthia Cowell is the new president of the Newport Beach Sunrise club, replacing Reniero Francisco, whose term expired. Serving with Cowell is Carl Lachman, president elect; Donna Cody, secretary; James Valle, treasurer; Laura Dietz, public relations; Gilbert Thweatt, training officer; Thomas Giulioni, membership chairman; Richard Hanki, foundation chairman; Gordon Bagne, community service chairman; Tim Brown, vocational service chairman. Developer Bill Hossfeld has taken the helm of the Newport-Balboa club from out going President Jerry Morris. Serving with Hossfeld are A.J.
