A free dog licensing clinic is scheduled for Friday and Saturday for those who are registering their dogs late or for the first time, according to police.
Rabies vaccination and microchip services will also be available, with microchipping being provided for a fee of $26, about half the normal price, according to Costa Mesa Police Sgt. Phil Myers.
In a partnership between the Orange County Humane Society and Costa Mesa Animal Control, the clinics are set for the greenbelt between City Hall, 77 Fair Drive, and the adjacent Police Department, according to a police news release.
