United Nations Assn.

The Orange County chapter of the United Nations Assn. hosts guest speaker professor Jim Stanbery of Harbor College at the Irvine Heritage Library, 14361 Yale Ave., Irvine. The Newport Beach Public Library begins the summer reading program at all its branches. Understanding Grandparent Rights

Art in the Park

The Newport Beach Arts Foundation presents its seventh annual Art in the Park Festival, which is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Mariners Park, 1300 Irvine Ave., Newport Beach.
