Mt. Everest Climber Speaks

Costa Mesa resident Bill Burke, who's thought to be the oldest American to climb Mt. Everest, speaks at the Laguna Beach Business Club at 7:30 a.m. at Hotel Laguna, 425 S. Coast Hwy., Laguna Beach. Senior Center Fundraiser

Ruby's Diner, 428 E. 17th St., Costa Mesa, hosts a fundraiser for the Costa Mesa Senior Center from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., with 20% of all food sales going to the Senior Center.
