Pearl Harbor survivor to speak
A "living history" of the attack at Pearl Harbor will be presented Feb. 23 by Jack R. Hammett, a retired Navy warrant officer, Pearl Harbor survivor and former mayor of Costa Mesa. The program will begin at 11 a.m. during the monthly meeting of the Newport Beach DAR chapter (Liberty Baptist Church, 1000 Bison St., Newport Beach).
