Bryce Brantley, a first-team All-East Conference defensive end at Orange Coast College in 2010, is one of several Pirates who have decided on their football futures at four-year schools. OCC Coach Mike Taylor announced Tuesday.
Brantley, who had 9.5 sacks and 12.5 tackles for loss as a sophomore, will play next season at Stony Brook University in New York.
Isaiah Reupena, a defensive tackle who earned second-team all-conference honors as a sophomore, is expected to sign with Western Carolina during his campus visit this weekend, Taylor said. Reupena's 48 tackles were second on the team and included seven tackles for loss.
Offensive tackle Rob Wright, a two-year starter, and kicker Lucas Vandeman have committed to Tabor College, an NAIA school in Hillsboro, Kansas.
Vandeman had seven field goals and was the team's second-leading scorer with 37 points last season, when OCC finished 2-8, 1-4 in conference.
