To mark the 25th anniversary of its Water Issues Study Group, the Mesa Consolidated Water District will start this year's installment of the adult educational program on Jan. 19, district officials said in a news release.
The program is open to water district customers who would like to learn more about groundwater-related issues. The series of annual study groups was established in 1986 to inform people in the community about the history of water, water sources, water quality and other topics, the release said.
Each study group session will take place from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on the third Wednesday of the month through June, the release said. The series will be held in the district's boardroom, 1965 Placentia Ave., Costa Mesa. For more information or to RSVP, call the district at (949) 631-1200 ext. 122, or e-mail Event@MesaWater.org, the release said. A registration form is also posted here on the district's website at http://www.MesaWater.org.
