COSTA MESA — A DUI checkpoint Saturday resulted in seven investigations, two arrests and another unrelated arrest, according to a news release issued by the Police Department.
The operation on Harbor Boulevard south of Victoria Street also resulted in 21 citations and 35 driver's license investigations, and 10 vehicles were towed.
Of the 806 vehicles that drove through the checkpoint, 733 were screened, the release stated.
A driver also turned in a replica of a semi-automatic pistol, one similar to weapons carried by officers, according to the release.
