MISSION VIEJO — Marcus Bradley, a 6-foot-6 senior transfer from Beaumont High, scored 17 points in his Sea Kings' debut Monday in the pool-play opener of the Diablo Classic at Mission Viejo High.

Senior Clayton Ragsdale added nine points and senior Roy Ayzin chipped in eight for the winners (1-0), who continue pool play Wednesday against Capistrano Valley.

NORWALK — Senior Davon Joyner scored 24 points and senior Ray Holmes added 15 in the pool-play opener Monday at the John Glenn Tournament at John Glenn High.

Estancia (0-1) led, 26-16, at halftime, but was outscored, 17-6, in the third quarter.

The Eagles continue pool play Wednesday against Garden Grove at 4:30 p.m.

WESTMINSTER — Juniors Marcus Hayes and Jordan Walden scored nine and eight points, respectively, for the Mustangs in the opening round of the La Quinta Tournament Monday at La Quinta High.

The Mustangs (0-1) will face Bolsa Grande tonight at 6.

ORANGE — Estancia High sophomore Ilene Umansky scored seven goals to pace a 9-6 win over Bolsa Grande in a consolation game Monday that followed an 18-1 opening-round loss to Orange at Orange High.

Alexis Paul made 22 saves in the win over Bolsa.

Umansky had the only goal against Orange, while Valerie Medina and Vanessa Rodriguez had goals against Bolsa.

Estancia (1-1) plays host to Rancho Alamitos in a nonleague game today.
