Artist Reception

An opening night reception for the artwork of Danny Galieote will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. at the SCAPE Gallery, 2859 E. Coast Hwy, Corona del Mar. Galieote is an up-and-coming local artist whose work depicts beach scenes and coastal landscapes.

Firefighters At Ruby's

Costa Mesa firefighters will team up with Ruby's staff to serve dinner from 4 to 9 p.m. at Ruby's Diner, 428 E. 17th St., Costa Mesa. Ruby's will donate a portion of the night's profits to the Firefighters Widows and Orphans Fund.
