From newly constructed streets to repaved ones, Newport Beach will begin its latest face-lift Monday with a slew of new projects expected to start.
The city has budgeted 90 days for crews to widen San Miguel Drive between MacArthur Boulevard and the beginning of Avocado Avenue, according to the city's site. Workers will add a third left turn lane onto northbound MacArthur from eastbound San Miguel, among other changes.
The second phase of Lido Isle's pavement rehabilitation will begin too. With workers initially doing concrete improvements from Via Antibes to Via Koron before repaving the streets.
