The Hutchins Consort performs from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Grant Howald Park, Fifth Street and Iris Avenue, Corona del Mar. The Hutchins Consort, a string octet from Southern California, plays an energetic repertoire of music ranging from classical to jazz on eight-scaled violins designed and built by famed luthier Dr. Carleen Hutchins.
