COSTA MESA — Eagles’ senior right-handed pitcher Marc DeFrenza earned his seventh win, throwing a complete-game shutout with nine strikeouts while allowing five hits and two walks in an Orange Coast League game Friday.
DeFrenza improved to 7-3.
Freshman Tyler Rios went two for three with a run scored and three stolen bases for Estancia (15-10, 7-3 in league).
The Eagles will play against Calvary Chapel at Vanguard Tuesday at 3:15 p.m.

CORONA DEL MAR — Junior outfielder Brian Ford went five for six with two runs batted in and two stolen bases for the Sea Kings in the Pacific Coast League game Friday.
It was a good day for the outfielders, as senior Chase Carlisle went three for five with two RBIs, and junior Will Morrow went two for four with three RBIs.
Sophomore Brent Lawson went two for four with two RBIs and a home run, his second of the season. Junior Eric Morris earned his sixth win of the season, as he pitched five innings, allowing three hits.
The Sea Kings (10-14, 7-6 in league) will play at Beckman Tuesday at 3:15 p.m.

HUNTINGTON BEACH — A.J. Wolfson pitched 6 2/3 innings Friday only giving up two runs on three hits with nine strikeouts to help his team improve to 15-5 and 11-2 in the Academy League.
Wolfson also added an RBI-double and a run at the plate, while Michael Yorita also cracked a double, hitting two for four with a run. Darren Hardy went two for four as well with a triple and a run, and Sean Vogel tallied two RBIs on a three-for-five day.
Sage Hill will play at home against Crean Lutheran on Tuesday.
