NEWPORT BEACH — Cody Caldwell had 24 kills, eight digs and four solo blocks to help lead the Sailors to a 21-25, 25-22, 20-25, 25-22, 16-14 Sunset League win Tuesday.
Zack Martin had 10 kills and Will Connelly added eight kills and three solo blocks for Newport Harbor (13-7, 4-1 in league) ranked No. 7 in the CIF Southern Section Division I coaches’ poll. The Chargers (3-2 in league) are ranked No. 4.
Jackson Carmack led the Sailors with 55 assists to go with seven digs. Newport Harbor’s Austin Bagby had seven kills and four solo blocks, Connor Curry had 14 digs and Ian Sequiera had seven digs.

CORONA DEL MAR — Weston Nielsen had 13 kills to lead the Sea Kings to a 25-16, 25-15, 25-19 Pacific Coast League win Tuesday.
Joey Booth had 11 kils and three aces, Evan Dean had seven kills and Spencer Haly added five kils and six blocks assist for CdM (13-8, 5-0 in league), ranked No. 6 in the CIF Southern Section Division I coaches’ poll.
Nick Curci contributed 27 assists, while Parker Brown had 10 assists and five kills for the Sea Kings.

Mattias Russo-Larsson had seven kills and seven digs for Sage Hill (11-9, 4-1 in league), ranked No. 7 in the CIF Southern Section Division V coaches’ poll. St. Margaret’s is ranked No. 2.

NEWPORT BEACH — Zoie Wolfe and Taylor Cordeiro each had three goals and two assists for the Sailors in the Sunset League game Tuesday.
Lauren Grupe had two goals and three assists, while Sierra Michaelsen and Amanda Olevsky added two goals and one assist each for Newport Harbor (10-6, 5-1 in league).
Jordan Team and Alayna Lewis scored one goal each for Sage Hill.

CORONA DEL MAR — Senior Pierce Stemler swept at No. 1 singles for the Sea Kings in the Pacific Coast League match Tuesday.
Stemler, who will be playing tennis at DePauw University of Indiana in the fall, won, 6-1, 6-2, 6-2.
