On Saturday February 20, 2010, Betty passed away
peacefully at the age of 89. She will now join her beloved
husband, Richard Martin, who preceded her death by 22
years. She is survived by her two children Craig Martin
and his wife Kathy, Karyn Sitter and her husband Bob, two
grandchildren Garret Martin and his wife Laurie, Thad Martin
and three great-grandchildren Connor, Caden and Cameron
Martin. Betty devoted herself to her family while enjoying
life and traveling with her cherished companion Bob Stratton.
With her husband Richard, Betty established the California
franchise for HoneyBaked Ham in 1968. She loved her years
as a resident of Bayshores and spent many wonderful hours
with her family on the community beach. She will be missed
by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, donations may be
