Kijubi.com, a new Internet startup based in Laguna Beach, recently announced its company launch with the first activity booking engine to help California travelers and weekend warriors discover, research and book fun outdoor activities.
Designed to help consumers discover, research and reserve a myriad of activities for their next trip or day off, Kijubi aggregates thousands of outdoor activities from hundreds of independent vendors in the nation’s key recreational playgrounds, including some great activities in Newport Beach such as Whale Watching, Fishing Trips and Ferry Rides around the Catalina Islands.
“Outdoor activities represent the last unaggregated segment of the travel industry,” said Billy Fried, Founder and CEO of Kijubi. “While it’s easy to investigate and reserve flights, lodging, transportation, and dining options online, it’s still a challenge to find and book fun things to do when you arrive at your destination. The online travel agencies do a marvelous job of getting people to their location. Kijubi helps them figure out what to do once they are there to truly enhance their experience.”
