Grubbs claims Woods has sent her hundreds of racy text and voice messages, and has published some of them in US Weekly, a national magazine.
Grubbs claims Woods sent her several text messages Oct. 15; photos of her iPhone showing the messages from Woods were published online and in the magazine.
The last message Oct. 15, sent at 7:13 p.m., read “Change of plans. Meet me at the island hotel. It’s a little safer. Got us a room for the night. Room 905. Its on the east side of fashion island.”
Another text read: “I will wear you out soon. You just need some attention from me.”
Woods apologized on his website Wednesday for “transgressions” and letting down his family, following a bizarre single-car accident at his Florida home last week and the naming of two alleged mistresses in the media. A third woman in New York, Rachel Uchitel, has denied sleeping with Woods.
Woods is married to former model Elin Nordegren; they have two children. Some reports indicate Woods and his wife fought about his predilections in the moments leading up to the car crash.
Woods denied that violence played a part in the crash in his open letter, and also pledged to be a better husband and father. He canceled an appearance at a golf tournament this week that he was to host.
“I have let my family down and I regret those transgressions with all of my heart. I have not been true to my values and the behavior my family deserves. I am not without faults and I am far short of perfect,” Woods wrote.
“I am dealing with my behavior and personal failings behind closed doors with my family. Those feelings should be shared by us alone.”
