The Newport Harbor Elks #1767, which is part of the Orange Coast District, raised $3,500 at its annual Western Round-up, held September 19th.. The proceeds will go towards the Elks Purple Pig Major Project Fund, which gives support to children with disabilities. This is one of most of profitable events the lodge has held.

The CHEA(California Hawaii Elks Association) District which consists of approximately 200 lodges throughout the California and Hawaii, donated just under 3 million dollars raised for their "Major Project Program".
