Eagles Black 30, Eagles Silver 6

The Eagles Black team remained undefeated beating a squad from the same program in the conference playoffs Sunday. Jacob Marines and David Atencio scored for the Eagles Black, which was helped by its offensive line: Nick Fiola, Nick Torres, Christian Ferraro, Jonathan Muise, Zack Swies and Mason Lindh. Deshandre Kerkhoff, Charlie Godshall, Kainoa Korionoff, Cody Merrifield and Elijah Chavis led the Black defense. Christian Veit, Stephen Muise, Narciso Montes, Teddy Cameron, Tyler Patridge and Michael Hitchman played tough on defense for the Eagles Silver team.

Boys Under 14

Newport Yetis 3, Newport’s Ischinger 2: Callum Heasley and Yelko Camena scored for the Yetis. Blake Jessen, Marcel DeBarros, Wyatt Devine and Dominic Kosecki helped on defense. Cesar Guzman, Broson Woodall and Briggs Yahn kept up the momentum, while Teddy Stuka guarded the last line of defense.

Boys Under 12

The Red Team 3, Mario Bros 1: Sargis Srapyan scored twice and Cooper Peters added a goal and two assists. Corbin Joyce was steady in goal, his long punts created many attacking opportunities for speedy forwards Alex Michaelson and Griffin Burke. Spencer Swanson and Sean Arnold played well and were backed by steady play of Liam Tough. Brian Shaw disrupted many attacks, while Michael Nieto and Maxwell Spruill also contributed.

Boys Under 10

Newport FC vs. Ghostbusters: Newport FC Captains Bobby Schulze and Julian Hernandez helped lead the team in a come-from-behind victory. Jack Pitchess notched two goals and Garrett Gendron positioned himself perfectly for the game-winner. Thomas Vredenburgh, Hunter Bostwick and Hernandez played well. Lucas Mowery, Kyle Burger and Schulze were strong on defense. John Bush and Justan Gizer split keeper duties.

Orange Crush: Quinn Richards scored two goals. Griffin Brockhoff also scored. Marcus Croxson scored on an assist from Gage Greenberg. Jonny Rimlinger also played well, as did Jack White and Connor Spence. Scott Ryder scored two goals. Garrett Gritzmacher and Ryan Pham were great in goal.

Boys Under 8

Bulldogs vs. Scorpions: Jack Starnes had two goals. Gilbert Prado added an assist to Dylan Hillson, who scored twice.

Boys Under 7

Red Dragons vs. Blue Cobras: Evan Langston scored on an assist from Brandon Kincaid. The Red Dragons midfielders Justin McCoy and Kincaid controlled the action. McCoy scored a goal, as did Aedan Skellern.
