NORTHRIDGE — Juliane Piggott led all players with 15 kills in the No. 23-ranked Anteaters’ 25-22, 25-22, 15-25, 25-23 Big West Conference win Tuesday.

Kari Pestolesi had 15 kills and 17 digs, wile Taryn Robertson contributed 41 assists, nine digs and a season-high four aces for UCI (14-3, 4-1 in conference).

SAN DIEGO — Kelsey Wirt had a match-high 25 kills to lead the No. 16-ranked Lions to an upset over No. 9-ranked PLNU, 23-25, 25-18, 25-23, 26-24, Tuesday.

Heather DeJongh had 15 kills, Jamie Heenan had 10 and Lisa Morgan 11 for Vanguard (12-6, 6-3 in conference).

IRVINE — Dean Regis one-timed a cross from Denny Perdomo in the 87th minute for the game-winner that helped the Pirates overcome a 2-0 deficit in the Orange Empire Conference match.

The Pirates (6-4, 3-0 in conference) scored three goals in the second half. Shun Katashima scored an unassisted goal in the 65th minute and Takuma Hori scored off a Will Muñoz assist in the 58th.

Vanguard 0, Cal Baptist 0

COSTA MESA — Trevor Herrera had two saves for the Lions in the Golden State Athletic Conference match Tuesday.

Vanguard (5-4-2, 2-1-1 in conference) outshot Cal Baptist, 20-6.

COSTA MESA — Taryn Bales and Kallie Ryker scored a goal each for the Pirates in the Orange Empire Conference match Tuesday.

Bales also had an assist for OCC (8-4, 4-2 in conference).
