As many as 350 walkers from several dozen congregations representing different faiths from around Orange County are expected to participate.
The walk is a fun time for families. Each walker receives a free T-shirt, and there are games, live music, food and drinks at the end of the walk.

SPEAK UP NEWPORT
The Oct. 14 meeting of Speak Up Newport will feature an update by the newly selected city manager, Dave Kiff, who will provide an update on the Newport Beach Civic Center Project.
The event is at the Newport Beach Yacht Club and begins at 5:30 p.m. with appetizers and a cash bar, followed by the program from 6 to 6:30 p.m. Guests are always welcome.

60TH ANNIVERSARY DINNER
The Kiwanis Club of Costa Mesa will hold a gala dinner at the Costa Mesa Neighborhood Community Center from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 25, to celebrate its 60 years of service to the children of Costa Mesa, said Dinner Chairman Jim Bonar.
