District seeks community input

The Newport-Mesa Unified School District plans to hold four community meetings this month to get community input into the district’s new strategic priorities under development.

The meetings will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at four school sites. People are welcome to come to any of the meetings.

The first meeting will be Wednesday at the Ensign Intermediate gym, 2000 Cliff Drive, Newport Beach.

The next community meeting will be Oct. 21 at the Estancia High School common area, 2323 Placentia Ave., Costa Mesa.

A meeting Oct. 28 will take place at the Corona del Mar High School big gym, 2101 Eastbluff Drive. The last meeting will be Nov. 18 in the Costa Mesa High School library, 2650 Fairview Road.

The district’s current Strategic Plan came into effect in 2005, and runs through 2010.
