A laborer from Costa Mesa has been arrested on suspicion of raping a woman while she was drugged.
Maynor Manuel Lopez-Barrios, 39, was arrested Monday on suspicion of sodomy and raping a drugged victim, police records show.
He also had an Immigration and Customs Enforcement hold placed on him. After all court proceedings are completed, he will be processed for possible deportation.
Lopez-Barrios is being held without bail in Orange County Jail and is expected to be charged today.
Costa Mesa police offered no other details about the incident other than to say that the alleged victim is a woman.
