Capo Beach Calvary Preschool & Jr. K, a South Orange County school committed to stimulating and encouraging students through a relaxed, child-centered environment, today announced the schedule of events for its Summer Adventure Camp. With theme-based activities involving pirates, puppies, jumpers and more, the program is open to all children ages 2 1/2 to 5 years old and will take place from June 22 to August 28, 2009, at 25975 Domingo Avenue in Capistrano Beach, Calif.

“We have been actively involved in the community for more than 15 years and remain dedicated to the mental, physical and emotional development of children throughout South Orange County,” said Michelle Smith, director of Capo Beach Calvary Preschool & Jr. K. “Our Summer Adventure Camp is both explorative and educational, designed to maintain students’ learning momentum throughout the summer months.”

In line with the preschool’s belief that children learn most effectively through spontaneity, initiative and curiosity, the summer program will offer numerous hands-on activities including “Experimenting in the Kitchen,” “Making Sand Castles,” “Bug Hunt,” “Arts and Crafts,” and “Planting Flowers.” In addition to Summer Adventure Camp, Summer Quest will be available for students from kindergarten to sixth grade, and will include weekly beach days and Friday field trips to destinations such as Knott’s Berry Farm, Wild Rivers and the Orange County Fair.
