COSTA MESA — Eagles junior catcher Josh Dominguez was two for two with a run scored in the Orange Coast League game Tuesday at Estancia High.
Junior Ryan Cherney had an RBI triple for Estancia (7-15, 3-6 in league), which plays at Laguna Beach Friday. The Eagles likely will need to win that game to stay in contention for third place in league, with Calvary Chapel playing last-place Godinez this week.
A Laguna Beach loss Friday would give Costa Mesa at least a share of the title.
