The eldest son of a former Iranian leader will speak Wednesday night at UCI about a future change in Iran-United States relations.
Reza Pahlavi, son of Mohamad Reza Pahlavi, the shah overthrown during Iran’s Islamic Revolution in 1979, will present a talk on “Iran-U.S. Relations at a New Crossroad.” The lecture is sponsored by the Center for the Study of Democracy and the university’s political science department.
Pahlavi will speak from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Crystal Cove Auditorium in UCI’s Student Center.
The event is free and open to the public. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking is available for $7 in the university’s parking structure at West Peltason and Pereira drives.
