Police are investigating whether a La Puente man arrested Friday on suspicion of stealing from a Costa Mesa Target is involved in two similar burglaries throughout the county, police said.
Costa Mesa police arrested Mark Diaz, 32, on suspicion of grand theft Friday after Target security told authorities he was the man who stole a TV from their store March 26.
Target security guards were weary of Diaz, said Sgt. Bryan Glass, because they suspect he is the guy who confronted security members in January when he believed they were watching him go through the store.
