HUNTINGTON BEACH — Senior Cait Williamson finished sixth in the 3,200 meters in a school-record time of 11 minutes, 38.82 seconds at Edison Saturday.

Williamson also finished 10th in the 1,600 in 5:18.31. Jackie Dion finished 10th in the high jump, 4 feet, 10 inches.

COSTA MESA — Kira Mitani produced five hits for the Mustangs in the nonleague double Saturday.

She also struck out and allowed three hits in the first-game, 2-1 loss. Costa Mesa (9-8) struck out 13 times. Mitani was two for two with a double.

Mitani went two for three in the second game and Alosina Skips was one for three with two RBIs.

The Mustangs play at Estancia Tuesday at 3:15 p.m. in the Orange Coast League for both teams.

NEWPORT BEACH — Tony Hanrahan and Zach Gagnon scored four goals each for the Sailors Friday.

Hanrahan also had an assist, while Cory Turner scored two goals and Dylan Gray had one goal and two assists. Turner and Justin Faber each recorded nine ground balls, a team high for Newport Harbor (3-3), which will play Esperanza Friday at Placentia.
