COSTA MESA — Jeff Dye had 12 kills, nine digs and three blocks to help lead the Mustangs to a 25-16, 25-14, 26-24 Orange Coast League-opening win at Estancia Tuesday.
Garrett Fraizer posted 10 kills and nine digs, Ryan Thompson added nine kills and four blocks and Ben Lefebvre contributed 31 assists and three kills for Costa Mesa.
Kohl Jones had 12 kills, two blocks and four digs for Estancia, which also got 19 assists from Tyler Sullivan, and six kills and three digs from Eric Mickelson.
Corona del Mar def. Woodbridge
CORONA DEL MAR — Middle blocker Dylan Davis had nine kills and one block in the Sea Kings’ 25-15, 25-15, 25-18 nonleague victory Tuesday.
Weston Nielsen contributed seven kills and Andy Morrow had six kills.
CdM (10-5) plays host to Edison Friday at 5:30 p.m.

Estancia 13, Costa Mesa 5
COSTA MESA — The Eagles’ No. 1 singles player Ely Zaidler swept at love in an Orange Coast League opener at Estancia Tuesday.
Estancia’s Danny O’Neil swept at No. 2 singles, dropping just two games, while Cory Frino won twice at No. 3 singles for the Eagles (2-5, 1-0, in league).
Estancia won five out of nine in doubles with No. 1 duo Kevin Thomas and Rony Argueta sweeping and winning 18 out of 20 games.
The Eagles play today at El Modena.

LAGUNA HILLS — Sophomores Ismaen Aboubakare and Joel Ishii were one of two doubles teams to sweep for the Sea Kings in their opening Pacific Coast League match Tuesday.
CdM, ranked No. 9 in CIF Southern Section Division I, improved to 5-2.
