CARSON — The Sage Hill School boys’ soccer team scored all its goals in the first half in its 4-1 postseason victory over California Academy of Math and Science at the Home Depot Center Wednesday.
The Lightning advance to the CIF Southern Section Division VII quarterfinals, where it will play host to Rosamond Friday, in a match scheduled for 3 p.m.
Senior Michael Bear scored twice and had an assist, while sophomore Colton Gyulay contributed two assists and a goal.
Sophomore Taylor Ross also scored for Sage Hill (12-2-6), coached by Noureddine El Alam. Lightning senior Nick Singarella had an assist.
