UC Irvine Athletics will hold a free health and fitness expo for girls in celebration of the national “Girls and Women in Sports Day.”
The event will feature instructional clinics in soccer, tennis, volleyball, basketball, golf, cheer and track taught by UCI student-athletes. The day also includes a health expo with vendors from the Orange County community promoting health and wellness.
After the clinics and expo, registrants will be treated to free admission as the UCI women’s basketball team takes on Cal State Northridge in the Bren Events Center. The clinics will run from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and the basketball game starts at 4.
