Orange Coast College sophomore goalie Josh Marsile, the team MVP, topped several Pirates who earned postseason individual honors in men’s water polo.
Marsile was named first-team All-Southern California and first-team All-Orange Empire Conference after averaging 10 saves per game for the Pirates.
The All-SoCal honor also allowed Marsile to earn the distinction of All-American.
OCC freshmen R.C. Dean and Adam Thomas earned second-team All-Southern California recognition.
Dean collected 37 goals, 25 assists and 39 steals, while Thomas had 26 goals, 27 assists and 37 steals.
All three were also named first-team all-conference, as was OCC sophomore Bryson Beardsley.
Beardsley led the team with 41 goals and 33 assists and he also contributed 26 steals.
