The Newport Beach Central Library, 1000 Avocado Ave., will host a Musicale event at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Friends Room.
Susan Craig Winsberg and Sam Hill will perform a repertoire of Celtic music, with Winsberg on flute and tin whistle and Hill on guitar.
The free afternoon will include Irish ditties, Scottish reels, ballads and Celtic love songs.
Winsberg, a Chicago native, majored in flute performance and currently performs and teaches in Los Angeles.
She has delved into her Scottish heritage in recent years, producing three related CDs.
Hill studied music at UCLA and performs in several chamber ensembles. He performs duets with Winsberg on his second CD, “Beauty, Despair and Fun.”
