“Twenty-five Days of Charity” is a Newport-Naples Rib Company’s monthlong fundraising event that benefits local schools and charitable organizations. Hosted by the Ursini family-owned and operated restaurants, Newport Rib Company in Costa Mesa, Naples Rib Company in Long Beach and Newport Rib Company in Ladera Ranch, “25 Days of Charity” is a chance to raise money for charity and help the company celebrate its 25th anniversary.
From Nov. 5 to 30, diners at all three restaurants will be presented a card with the names of 25 local schools and charities selected as beneficiaries. Each restaurant has its own list of local schools and charities to select from. Dining patrons can select a charity on the card and inform their server which charity they wish to support. The restaurant will reserve 20% of the receipt for the selected charity, with total amounts distributed to all charities at closing ceremonies the first week of December.
